PMEGP Project Report Online Free: Format, Subsidy & Examples
The Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) offers a margin-money subsidy of 15% to 35% on new manufacturing and service projects. The application runs through the KVIC portal, and a project report is mandatory.
How much subsidy?
Subsidy depends on category and area: general category gets 15% (urban) / 25% (rural); special categories (SC/ST/OBC/women/ex-servicemen) get 25% (urban) / 35% (rural). Your project report must show the project cost, the bank loan and the subsidy clearly.
Format
A PMEGP report follows the standard DPR structure plus a subsidy/margin-money working. Generate a complete PMEGP project report online free with the subsidy auto-calculated.
Popular PMEGP activities
Common projects include food processing, garments, a poultry farm, agarbatti, dairy and small manufacturing units. Each needs its own machinery list and projections.
FAQ: Who approves it?
KVIC / KVIB / DIC sponsor the application; the bank sanctions the loan and the subsidy is kept as a margin-money lien for 3 years.
